My grandfather flew out of Deopham Green...I've been looking at photos all morning. Although it has been demolished I would still like to walk on the grounds. He died before I was born...I would feel close to him there. He was a ball turret gunner on Sack Time Sioux.
Sally's has a knock off of this stuff. I have the jojoba one and LOVE it!!! I use it every other day (I wash every day). Makes my hair totally smooth with very little effort. I do feel like it can build up on your hair if you use it every day. Its $10 at sallys (for the knock off)...give...
No difference between "beauty school" and "Cosmetology"...I think "beauty" is a more generic term and could be used for Esthi classes or Nail tech classes. When you say Cosmetology it just means all of them including hair.
Thanks for the vote of confidence! The reaction has been very...
I have been working at an advertising agency for years and have been in Corporate America for a long time. It was never my passion....beauty is so I've decided to quit and go to school full time to study cosmetology!
Im so excited!!
My "on a budget" go-to shampoo and cond is from Trader Joes....its their "Nourish" line. Its $2.50 a bottle (poo/cond) and its heavenly. Sometimes I find the need to try something expensive but I always come back to this stuff.
I have used this product too and did enjoy it. VERY light rose scent...almost no scent at all. Very think cream and a little goes a long way so although the jar is small you will still get many uses from it. Having said all of that I much prefer the Queen Helene Tripple Whipped Cold Cream and...
I have tried L'Occitane's cold cream soap and it really dried out my winter skin. I currently use Queen Helene's Cold Cream on my face as a pak and to remove makeup but in the summer my skin gets oily so i have been looking for a good facal soap. Thanks for starting this thread.
I just had to add my 2 cents here....I was lurking a few weeks ago and saw this thread...I knew I had cold cream and witchhazel at home so i thought I would give it a go and MAN am I glad I did....my skin has improved more than I can tell you.
I have adult acne and tons of clogged...
I just got my latest besame order and here are my thoughts...
Besame L/S in Merlot-Fantastic everyday red color...its bold with out being over the top. I feel like it is dryer than the other lip colors so I'm thinking it will stay on longer.
Besame L/S in Chocolate Kiss-Got a sample of this...
I was pretty much raised by my grandmother until I was around 12 and I loved to hear her stories about the war and her childhood. My grandfather died before I was born and all I had to remember him by was a worn picture of him standing in front of his flying fortress where he was a ball turret...
Good to hear...I was a little worried about the merlot color...Im looking for a classic everyday color. I'll add the pink rouge to my list...thanks. They have a free gift (warm or cool trio) with any $30 purchase...its a $45 value...I couldnt pass it up.
I have a few favorites...not in any order but philosophy is more of an everyday/weekend scent
Jo Malone Amber Lavender
Tocca Cleopatra
Philosophy Amazing Grace
Stella
Chanel No. 5
LOVE everything I have from Besame. Esp Choc Kiss lipstick and the Rose Lotion...great for mixing with foundation. I have besame red lipstick and I do love it but it is a little dark for an everyday red. The crimson rouge is another product that takes some practice but once you master it you...
Glad you all liked it...the liner trick is great! I have very small close set eyes and this really makes them look bigger. As for the vasaline...I have used it for years...now that the whole 'petro is bad' thing has gotten big i've switched to egyptian magic but still love the results from...
