Still jacket weather here in Alberta Canada. Custom Hooch Hauler in old batch midnight blue CXL (about 3-4 months of break in done) With the new batch of midnight actually looking blue, I guess I need to rename my jacket color. How’s steel grey CXL sound:p?
:p I believe there are NOT ENOUGH REDWING SHOES or vintage workwear shoes there for sure!:D However my wife begs to differ. I admit I do have a lot of shoes:oops:
Thank you for the compliment regarding my photos of my HH :) . In regards to the HH and the ELMC windward, I believe they are 2 fairly different jacket designs. The only similarity imho is that they are both aviator/vintage style cross zips. I don't own a windward but based on the very knowledge...
My humble collection hanging in my office/closet/shoe rack. My girls (wife and 2 teenage daughters) take up most of the storage space, thus this is my main cubby hole :p. My shearling jackets are in the basement storage cabinet for the spring/summer months.
Been trying to wear this beast as much as I can since getting it. It’s breaking in nicely:). I can honestly say this is my most comfortable Aero jacket I have. It has the most range of motion compared to my Ridley, Seven and Premier Halfbelt - probably due to the wider shoulders and single...
Happy Easter! Got some good shots of my Aero Hooch Hauler in the sun today while strolling the Local Zoo. You can see the color variations starting to form now. Also, Midnight Blue seems to go pretty well with warm tones too imho. ;) It's breaking in nicely :)
It was a custom order from Thurston Bros. I changed the length and body length to fit my stature and I incorporated a dustbowl back rather than the usual one piece back. The size is a 40. P2P 21.5, Shoulders 17.5, Hem 20.5, sleeves 25.25, back length 25. The shoulder, body and hem are stock.
My premier half belt is a size 40. The shoulder length i believe is 17.5 to 17.75. The P2P is 21-21.5 and the hem is 20.5. It is snug in the shoulders and chest. I can Cross my arms but it is not that comfortable to do so. I’m not sure about the sleeve cap though. In comparison, my Aero...
I feel once the sleeves crease up more the sleeve length would be just right. Currently they feel A little longer than my Halfbelt despite both spec’ed at 25.25 inches in length. The hooch hauler shoulders are wider by an inch or so compared to my Halfbelt and probably contributes to the sleeves...
Just received my modified Aero Hooch Hauler today :)!

2. Black stitching with black buttons - did not want contrast...

I recently ordered a modified Hooch Hauler from Carrie at Thurston Bros. This is the 6th jacket I purchased from Carrie. The service is outstanding and she and Wade really know their stuff regarding fit and styles. I think you should seriously consider going through Thurston Bros. For...
