Custom made steerhide biker jacket, that removable mouton collar and woolen lining make it wearable even in light cold like today.

Well, as long as I know, this hide seems to be chrome tanned. It's flesh side is blue.

Mostly cow and steer hides - this one is made of steerhide imported from Russia.

I have a question about those vintage wool lined motorcycle jackets. Did these have some kind of interlining or was that wool plaid lining only insulation after leather outer shell? Same question about cotton drill/sateen lining inside the arms - I think there should be thin insulation layer...
