Perhaps my expectations were too high going in, but I have to agree with your review of this one Lefty......as much as I wanted to, I just never connected with this movie.

During yesterday's Mardi Gras parades....La Luna Maduro Fuerte Colada, Don Peppin Garcia (Blue Label), JDN Antano.....a good day for parades and cigars!:D

Last night after attending our last "planning" meeting for our upcoming Mardi Gras Ball, I joined a cohort at a local watering hole and enjoyed a Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label....very good. In the next day or two I will be putting together my lineup of cigars for our two biggest Mardi Gras...

It's amazing what marketing can do.....Starbucks has convinced everyone that over-roasted coffee is good coffee......and then they charge a ridiculous price for their OVER-ROASTED beans to top it off!

While taking in the first parade of the Mardi Gras season last night I enjoyed a San Cristobal de Habana La Punta......I wasn't concerned with catching beads or Moon Pies while enjoying this cigar.:) .....although it was fun to watch the young ladies around me campaign for beads.:D

This morning I'm enjoying some fresh pressed Turquino. Ahhhhhhhhh, at this moment life is good!:)

La Luna Natural Fuerte Colada.....a spicy little smoke. Marta Perez rolls some of the finest cigars around.:)

I like anything blended by Don Pepin. His blends suit my strength and flavor preferences to a "T".:) :)

La Luna African Fuerte Perfecto......my last one.:( Unfortunately I can't get any more of these. This one had 5 years of age on it......held up VERY well.:) Don't you just hate to see that "last" vitola in the box knowing you can't get any more of "that" particular cigar?

Cool Beans! I live across the Bay over in Daphne, but grew up in Mobile. This morning I enjoyed a Romeo y Julieta Cazadore.....with a few cups of pressed Turquino coffee. Mmmmmmmm!
