I got my first panama hat courtesy of Panama Bob this past monday. It arrived a little... well... stepped on. After some coaching from Robert I managed to smooth it all out and I couldn't be happier! Thanks again Robert! Anyway, here are some pictures of the whole affair.
And just...
This past weekend I was at a graduation, girlfriend's brother was getting his bachelors. There were 9 of us there and I was the only one who's face, neck, and top of the head weren't horribly burnt by the end of the day. Now I admit, I should have worn sun screen (we all should have) but at...
I've only had a few chances to wear a felt in the 90+ heat so far but I wore my dark brown fed iv both days out in the blazing sun and didn't feel too worse for it. I'd take it off to cool down once and a while but with the sun beating down on me I felt much better when I put it back on.
Wow...
I feel like I'm the most boring person on the lounge! Those are some pretty interesting hobbies. I like to draw and sketch, I've really progressed over the last few years but I wouldn't say I'm any good. I picked up the guitar for a while but got to a point where I wasn't learning...

You gotta remember...
We are all a bunch of enablers ;)
But it sure sounds like quite a find for not a lot of money. If you ever considered making hats here is your opportunity!
I'll tilt mine back if I'm wearing it indoors for anyreason. That makes eye contact with others easier and I'm not hiding my face (despite the fact that it has been known to terrorize children and women).
I don't have a standard to compare to. From what I've read the differences are the felt and the sweat. I hope someone who knows better can chim in about the felt but in my experience the sweat is just softer and more comfortable than any other hat I've tried on. The difference would be to...
