Yes, that would be my thinking, as well. I've never had too tight knits. And they get way less tight if they get wet and worn. But then again, I'm done with A-2s. One repro, sort of OK, one original, perfect, but too fragile to wear. Not really for me...

The wax is different from Barbour. I don't know how to explain it, maybe Barbour standard stuff is "waxier". And the N-1 has a heavy lining, whereas my Barbours do not, which changes the combo. Then again, I wash everything. And cannot be bothered to rewax. I bought my dryzabone duster...
