Yes, black tea core dyed FQ horsehide Shinki leather which is black but will show brown when scratched and/or heavily worn. The classic aged leather jacket look.

After you had the long jacket shortened, what was the total length in back? Do you have any pictures with it on?

How is the needlework on the new jacket? Any close-up photos? The first jacket's seams were a little wavy and had some thread overlap.
