Holy guacamole!!! what did ya all think of the fight night at the basketball game?? They could probably make some extra money by advertising it as "free fer all nite" Fans verses the players. I'm sure many would tune in to watch another reality show.

"...So the other night, Hubby took me to the fights -- and a basketball game broke out! It's gettin' so you just can't go anywhere..."

It's a sad example of the contagious nature of incivility. A generation that scorned saying "thank you," "you're welcome" and "excuse me" as hyprocrisy has grown up, raised children, and is now reaping the harvest they sowed.

About time for manners to return. We can at least all take a solemn vow to never throw beer or start fights. Good manners can be just as infectious as bad ones!

Basketball and fighting

This whole thing makes me sick. I will never go to a pro basketball game again. As for the fines come on a year for fighting with the fans how about a ban for life they did it to the Black socks in what 1919. One of the greatest players of all times Shoesless Joe's only crime was he knew it was going on he did not stop it and he was ban for life.

I completely agree. Manners start at home. Such behavior is a poor reflection on their parents. I suppose I had a bit of a reprieve from that because my parents had me later in life. I was supposed to say all those thank yous and your welcomes----or else! LOL
Civility in interpersonal relationships breed a civil society. I hope this is not reflective of things to come.

Regards to all,
