So it's been almost 2 years since I received my Aero 42-18775-P, and I wore it most of the time since then. I've never baby-sitted it, worn it through pouring rain, slept with it on a couple occasions, and so on. It's been my faithfull companion through thick and thin, and I love the way the jerky hide has aged.

I thought it'd be nice to show a couple pictures here, showing the general shape and some specific spots where the dark seal has worn off, showing the unddrtones.

So, there you go !

Thanks, guys! It's my only "quality" leather jacket, and I'm madly in love with it.

@torfjord as you can see, and a some stated, the finish is rubbing of more easily than on the Vincenza. But if you want a jacket with lots of grain and character, and that will develop patina in no time, that's the way to go!

Looks like a well-preserved WWII original A-2! With leather jackets, sometimes the best advice to break one in is “ just wear the darn thing” (as so many on TFL have said). The perfect A-2 @Cocker, congrats and keep up the good “work”!

Sadly, nope. I hadn't had the chance to put my ass in the backseat of an aircraft for 4 years now!! I'll need to contact my friend who owns the SNJ-5 soon, I really miss it!

Wasn't it Einstein who said something along "get one good leather jacket and you won't need anything else for years"?

@torfjord , thinking about it, if those couple pictures make you decide to go the jerly way, I think it's one of the biggest compliment that could have been said, thanks!

I was undecided on whether I should go with jerky or Vicenza, but your jacket pushed me over the edge. I much prefer the way jerky ages compared to Vicenza.

It doesn’t look like there’s a lot of sleeve creases, do you know if the sleeves have shrunk anything at all due to creasing?

They did crease, but I don't think I lost anything in sleeve length, maybe half an inch, tops!
