Offering up my vintage Cal Leather Horsehide café racer motorcycle jacket- approx. size 42. Black. It has the signature Cal Leather 6 piece back and the standard Cal Leather non-gusseted open zip sleeves. Early brass ring pulls on the chest zippers, talon sleeve zips and smaller early Talon main zip place this jacket most likely around the early Sixties. Two chest pockets. All zips work fine. Leather is supple and has a beautiful patina. Usual character and flaws typical with vintage- some scuffing, and some light leather fraying around the back shoulder; not perfect but in wonderful condition for age. Looks like there might have possibly been a patch at some time on the arm, but barely noticeable. Lining is good and solid. These vintage Cal Leather horsehide café racers rarely come up, especially in this kind of good condition.

No size marking, but here are the approximate measurements:

Shoulder to Shoulder: 18.5”

Armpit to armpit: 22”

Shoulder seam to end of sleeve: 25.5”

Base of neck to bottom: 25”

Price is $375 – Free to pick up in person, or add another $25 for shipping CONUS. PM me any questions.

Took long enough. I hope it's going to Japan where it's going to be appreciate for what it is.

I handled two Cals yesterday. I have yet to see nicer horsehide on any moto jacket.

A truer statement I have not read anywhere on TFL. And if you find one of CLs that smell amazing, it's game over. I am constantly opening my closet door to catch a whiff and my wife thinks I have some sort of jacket / motorcycle paraphilia.

I'm hot on the trail of either a zip-up or a cafe racer Cal. No joke, Cal had objectively superb leather in that department. Not merely "it's horsehide, I'll buy it".
