Hey all,
Need to thin out the closet herd a bit, and I have a lot of black MC jackets, so sadly a few need to go.
Here is a nice Excelled in the usual Brando MC style. Labeled size 42 and I would call it a roomy 42...at my current weight of 225 (I'm 5'8") it fits me fine. I have a 44" chest and 38" waist.
I purchased it in nearly new condition and have worn it on weekends over the past year. It still looks about how I received it, breaking in nicely. Black Quilted Liner is perfect. Pocket bags are all intact. All zips are original and (aside from issue #3 below) work/look fine. EMAR large main zipper, FAZIPs on sleeves and unmarked chain pulls on pockets. Three issues worth mentioning:
1) There is a small scuff on the rear left shoulder vent (seen in the photos with the white background, from the original seller I purchased it from). I found a few tiny marks here and there but that's the only one that is relatively easy to see.
2) The nice brown label was mint when I got it but unfortunately crumbled quickly from age (also seen in the other seller's photo). That's vintage for you...
3) The chain on the chest pocket zipper broke at some point so I connected the original large ring pull with two little connectors; the pocket zipper functions fine this way (perfect for a cell phone!) so I never fixed it but I imagine you could find extra chain links to restore it original.
Measurements below were taken with a soft tape measure, held straight along jacket, garment zipped shut, laid on flat surface and held straight but not pulled or stretched. I use millimeters as I feel they are the most accurate, but I included the closest inch conversions also.
Chest, pit-to-pit: 605mm/23.75"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back under collar: 520mm/20.5"
Waist, over buckled belt: 520mm/20.5"
This is a great entry level leather jacket or a good chance to try the Brando style if you haven't yet. Real rock & roll vibe to this one, I got lots of compliments when I wore it.
