I used to be able to view member's post history. (Useful when a member and I are the same size and I want to know what he's selling).

But now I get "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

Is this by error or by design?
You’re not going to get an answer from anyone working on the site. I wrote to them directly a couple of times when a post I put up about a Schott jacket that someone had pretty heavily modified—and I was speculating on why they might have done that—was “moved” to a more suitable thread, I received a couple notifications telling me that this had taken place. When I clicked on the links, I kept getting the “oops” messages that I did not have authorization or permission to see the post.
Eventually they deleted the notification in my account, and just ignored my query as to where the post had been moved to. Searches turned up zilch. Someone deleted it, and just can’t be bothered to say why.

You didn't write to me. Although I wasn't involved in this particular incident, I looked it up and now remember it very well.

Through no fault of yours, your thread degenerated into multiple objectionable posts. In fact, one member was permanently banned over his posts. In the end, the thread wasn't salvageable and was locked and deleted. Again, this was no fault of yours.

If you have a question, send me a PM. PC
