on the evadress website, there's quite a few cute pajamas on there as well. I figure, since I'm going all out buying outfits for the duration of the QM event...may as well get some vintage looking jammies as well...this is going to be fun :D

Yay! Yes, these are totally vintage looking! These pajamas were popular all the way from the late 30's until now! If you put the wide leg pants with them, they'd even pass for late 20's to 30's!

I picked up some when I was in Scotland for only 4 GBP. They're the best, and they always look very vintage! The best thing about them is that you don't have to worry about ripping fabric or seams when you're sleeping or wandering about the house!

Sleepwear

Hi ladies,

Does anyone have a good link for sleepwear? (I did try searching, but I must have the wrong keyword)

Between being under the weather the last few days, and DH's oh-so-subtle hints, I'm in the mood for COMFORT.

I'm specifically looking for cotton gowns like Grandma used to wear, but pj's are good too. This is one area I prefer new to vintage (you never know where a nightie has been!)

Lanz of Salzburg,http://www.lanzofsalzburg.com makes the best quality flannel "granny gowns" -- I have one I've worn completely thru at the elbows, but it took me over ten years to do it. There's nothing more comfy on a cold night.

They're also a very vintage-type company -- been making pretty much the same designs for over sixty years. So when your favorite nightie finally wears out, you can always be sure of getting a replacement!

Sleepwear is one of my greatest luxuries. Silk pajamas it has to be and perfect ones also. Not too tight around the waist. It is an art form to find a perfect sleeping item. I cannot wear gowns as they wrap all around my legs. I also have perfect sleeping socks not too tight around ankles.
Hope you find a great gown. lol

I love the sleepwear by Swoon. (I promise I don't work for them even though I keep going on about them!)

Such cute camiknicker which I sleep in, and longer nighties that I plan on getting when it cools off, or a pair of sleep pants and a matching camisole. They have plenty of more toned down prints, you can request pretty much anything. Apparently they are going to be doing pajama trousers soon too!

I have a holy grail of pajamas though - saw this picture on a vintage site - aaaand just realised I saved it at home :eusa_doh:

Basically they were silky, 30s pajamas with wide legged, full-length pajama bottoms and a cute wrap top. I will have it copied one day!

I am in LOVE with the Nick & Nora line! I got the greatest set of soft flannel jammies of theirs with sock monkeys! They're my absolute favorite pjs now. Plus, I got them as overstock at Goodwill for 6 bucks-- even better! And then I found the same pattern in a robe...

I'm afraid I'm horridly non-vintage when it comes to sleepwear! Oh well!
