Onestar - Yes, I did as Lenny did and ordered all pockets corduroy lined. It is a great feature and they feel great - a must for all my jackets from now on. The best thing is, Aero didn't charge any extra - what's not to like

deluxestyling - I have the same inner pockets on my Highwayman (one zip and one stud). I don't tend to use them much, because bulky items can make the front of the jacket bulge, but I wouldn't be without them all the same. They are great for thin things like cards and paper and the zip pocket is ideal for keeping a passport secure.
JanSolo - Many thanks for the tip off about the pocket lining and the leather strip around the inner hem. My Highwayman lining dropped a bit, after a while, until it started to hang below the back of the jacket - I had to get the wife to sew a horizontal pleat in the lining to lift it. This leather strip solves that and should prevent wear along that bottom edge - another must have feature for me now. I know you have quite a collection of jackets now, could I ask which is your favorite hide to date?
Mr. Peacoat - I have indeed learned so much from our discussions on peacoats and I thank you, my new friend, for taking the time to answer my many questions. I'm glad you like the modified Californian - the corduroy does look a like black in the photo but is is actually a very dark chocolate brown and really goes well the Russet hide. My main problem now is, do I wear my peacoat or an Aero? My passion for both is now equal but the peacoat is winning whilst the weather is still cold enough to wear it
