Hats are inanimate objects, entirely lacking any cognitive abilities. Thus, a hat cannot be expected to "get" women. Then again, I don't "get" women and I've been known to ponder on at least three occasions, so I suppose I could be wrong.lol
I was thinking of going for this, and emailed the seller for more accurate measurements. He never got back to me. The brim looked a bit stingy, but I wasn't sure. Enjoy the hat!
And post pics!
Um (he tries to speak, as saliva overflows his mouth and begins to splatter on the floor), those are some, um, nice hats you've got there. That Black Stetson "Sport-Lite" is about the most swell hat I've seen in a long time.
The thing is, I just want a safe place to keep my hats. I'm not planning on displaying hat boxes. I just want safe storage. I'm not against fancy boxes, vintage or otherwise, but I can't abide a box that costs so much. It's about the hat, not the box (for me).
The Adventurebilt boxes are way too pricey and the other boxes don't have inserts. There are plenty of places to buy hat boxes inexpensively, but there's nowhere to buy the inserts.
Hat boxes are pretty easy to find - it's the inserts that are not readily available. What we need is instructions on how to make a decent hat box insert (or a website that sells the inserts themselves).
The latest episode (The Reins of a Waterfall) has Eric Stoltz in what looks like a gray Borsalino. It's got no taper, a pretty high crown, and if the brim were a bit wider, it would be perfect, except that it looks a size too large for Stoltz.
