    Thanks for the insight, everyone. I ended up selling this jacket and placing an order for a custom Aero Board Racer. The Board Racer fit jacket had the armholes placed much higher and thus felt much more comfortable to move around in, despite having thicker leather.

    It sounds like your theory is that I should have tweaked the armhole and high arm width measurements to be a tad more accommodating, as well as looked for a design with articulated shoulders. Thank you for chiming in.
