ill admit to this... started a new job and have developed a crush on all these older, stylish and extremely smart women who work around me. Now, never having dated anyone one older than me and usually dating people quite a bit younger than me... it feels a bit taboo and scandalous, which makes...
I saw that available recently and wondered about other opinions on it... Also there is a marlowe tv series out with someone from deadwood in it. Anybody know anything about it? This might be off topic for this thread... is there a Chandler thread somewhere?
The Third Man is playing in 35 mm on the big screen in Portland for the next week. http://www.fifthavenuecinema.groups.pdx.edu/ourlocation.html
So cool
Blade Runner 25th
Just saw Blade Runner on the big screen. Like "The Long Goodbye" it does an excellant job of incorparating vintage looks (and themes, of course) into modern or ultra-modern contexts. Plus it is just the coolest movie ever.
First, that is great artwork. But that story is perfect as well. When I got my tattoo in college it was pretty big and his design. He had a fixed price per hour and asked for a deposit and I paid as we went. I really enjoyed the process. Not being an artist I felt like was a part of the artistic...

(Tough to figure out how to load photos from the computer)
This is a nicer version of what I got.
Those are great.
This year I was a bit broker than I wanted to be, which sometimes works out well. I got my friend a vintage cigarette case and got "Poetry, even when apparently most fantastic, is always a revolt against artifice, a revolt, in a sense, against actuality. - James Joyce"...
