It's actually a strange color brown, in light it almost looks Peach, but in the camera and in a dim room, it looks like a light brown. Kinda cool actually, it's like a chameleon hat :)
hmm, could be, I've never had one this soft. I was actually really stoked when I found it, cause A) I've never had one this color, and B) They sold it to me for 20 bucks cause it had no tag, so they priced it the same as the cheaper wool hats. The brim is very malleable, and molds into cool...
Well, being new, the most useful thing to me so far is knowing that I'm not alone in wanting to look nice, and having a love of fedoras.

After reading this thread, I swung over to BCF downtown after work and got a good score. I'll definately be making this trip every payday or so to see what I can find.

Took a little trip to Venice Beach yesterday...I'm now a lobster on my legs, but it was worth it :) I did realize that it seems like Venice Beach is where alot of the dregs of humanity are these days though...

One of the bosses at work took me and my IT director out to dinner at the MGM Grand here in town once, and it was about 400 for the four of us. I was so glad that wasn't MY bill....

So I finally found a good bar in Vegas! It's not completely the classic style, but style it does have. The house Jazz band plays thur-sunday, and they are FANTASTIC. And I knew it was gonna be a good place when the sign had a fedora on it :)
