7 3/8" (which this is) usually fits me perfectly being just loose enough. The sweatband on this Panama is abit suspended out from inside of hat must be the reason.
It was really gusty here in Austin yesterday and the hat stayed on my head for the most part :).
Oh well...
I have a Panama straw that is just a bit snug due to the sweatband.
The seller told me it well stretch abit after use and fit.
Can anyone verify this? I have been told it is better to have it abit snug anyway to prevent blowing off but hope it will loosen up with use as it is a great hat.
Monbla I bought an Ultrafino from Ecuador this time. Saving up for one of PB's :)
Until then quality is good enough and I like the brim size of about 2 3/4"
Well I am always on the lookout for a good deal... At lunch yesterday I stopped into a resale shop that sometimes has hats.
To my surprise I found an 8x Beaver Brand Mink/Brown Fedora :)
It was made in 2006 and appears very lightly worn almost new.
So I bought it and went directly over to...
Anyone Tried Murray's Super Light?
Of all the pomades I've tried as well as Brylcreem.... I like it best as it has control, shine, and washes out easily.
Depending on how much you use.. it does not need look greasy.
Groom and Clean is a close 2nd to me and is easier on my Fedora...
I have a FB account.
As many others have mentioned it is a useful and cost effective medium for social sharing especially with family and friends in England.
I do get concerned it seems folks are using these social networks more and actually physically interacting less.... however here I am...
Ok..... I have seen many threads about what to wear, what not wear etc..
However what are the thoughts of what to wear that make you feel at rest, or at your best?
I'll start with one - A white cotton crew T-shirt (or vest in UK) everyday!

While in China last month on extended trip I watched this series. Thought the acting and plots excellent. I do think interest in Machine Age and Golden Era is emerging as evidenced by shows such as this being mainstreamed!

Like Forrest above I am in Austin. So most any style goes.... however my family gives me a hard time with my Fedora's thinking them too old fashioned :{
For those wanting to try an "old school" hair tonic you might like Jeris with or without oil.
Great smell but light hold on non oil ... oil version medium hold.
Most Barber or Beauty supply online have it, as well as Amazon
