    Cinemas and theaters

    We have two cinema's on the island where I live, one is a regular multiplex the 2nd looks nothing special from the outside but does have a 'vintage' feel on the inside. Not as grand as some of the pics in this thread, but grateful we have this local to us.

    You know you are getting old when you attend your favourite 'vintage / retro' fesitval & they start in include bands from the 90s. Still in shock about this, after all I consider Buddy Holly to be modern.

    I saw the film last week. After the amazing reviews I was expecting a little more, but it is far from a bad film. The Spitfire scenes for me was the best part. Female nurses on the hospital ships and the 1970s train carriage was a bit rummie. The film is shot as a 'first hand' experience, so...
