I find that right above the apples of my cheeks, diagonally upwards in circle motions, stopping a bit before my temples looks most natural on me and suits my face shape best. I think I look awful with blush on my cheek apples. -

Frenchy56, I don't think I've ever tried any Maybelline mascaras. I'd been considering Falsies but at that price I thought define-a-lash was for the lower and inner lashes only to be used with another mascara which sounded like an awful lot of trouble to me. -

L'oreal Infallible 300 Amber. I'd been using L'oreal True Match golden beige before which I can now see was a huge mistake and I shudder at the thought of what I might've looked like on close neck/face inspection I also needed to use more product of the True Match for the same coverage...
