I do tend to hand wash most of my sweaters, however, if I have several to do at any one time, I put them in the washing machine on a gentle wool wash and that is fine.

I Don't like acrylic sweaters, I much prefer pure wool. I don't see the point of cotton sweaters either, although some cotton sweatshirts are good. Hope you like the Bond Sweater which looks a bit different to their other garments.

I bought the OK Rothey Derby Crew neck sweater as mentioned above, it arrived yesterday and is excellent. It has large turnback cuffs and suede elbow and shoulder patches. Good and warm as well of course.
Outdoor Knitwear in the UK also do these style of sweaters. I do like them and do I have one. As well as the crew/round neck, they do a roll neck version too which I am tempted to buy.
