Any product recommendations for restoring shine and oil to deerskin? I tried some chamberlain leather milk and that hydrated the leather but it still looks kind of dull compared to before I tried to get the smell out. I have some obenaufs as well I was going to try.
I have a few SNS Stark cardigans. Really warm and look quite nice too. Not sure if the quality has dipped over the years though since they became a pretty big fashion brand.
hm I bought one off Amazon and they didn’t seem to care it’s shipping to CA. Haven’t gotten it yet but I’d assume if they couldn’t ship Amazon wouldn’t allow it.
This discussion has lead me to buying an ozone machine as well. My jacket despite my best efforts still smells faintly of cigarettes. Plus it’ll probably work well on the couch pillows that smell of dog.

Last week was brutal in socal. It’s still pretty hot but better. Every year around this time I start getting sick of summer and this year is no different. Still probably another 4 or 6 weeks of it though.
Yeah not to clutter this thread up too much with this discussion but that sounds like absolute and complete BS. I have a really hard time believing some guy in Europe is going to source better leather from a Japanese tannery than a Japanese company known for their obsessive nature when it comes...
Smell wasn’t improving much on the leather so I took drastic measures and soaked the leather a few times in febreeze. Still isn’t perfect but way better than when it first got here. Going to let the leather sit for a day to make sure the cleaner didn’t dry it out too much and may give it another...
I was kind of out of the loop when Lawless was crowd funding but why did so many people back the project? It looked like ultra generic jeans to me. Was the price so low people decided to roll the dice on a too good to be true offer?
I’m sure this has been asked but what’s the best way of getting rid of cigarette smell? The jacket I bought smells pretty heavy of it. So far I turned it inside out and febreezed the liner a few times then rubbed it down with soapy water. I just used warm water on the leather (also smells) and...
I never quite understood the Roy hype tbh. It felt like the story of the one man shop increased the mythos and the interesting scalloped stitching as well. Personally I always thought the fits and cuts never were flattering on people. It was also pretty generic denim being used.
Depends on where you draw the line. Most Japanese denim doesn't come from Japanese cotton. Denim is a pretty global product these days so why arbitrarily say the sewing has to occur where the denim production occurs?
Granted I exclusively buy Japanese denim sewed in Japan but that is simply...

I finally pulled the trigger on this Flat Head deerskin since the USD:Yen conversion is so favorable right now. The listing says the lining is dirty (looks clean to me, but who knows) so what is the best way of cleaning a lining like this...
Yeah I really like the design of the Apolis ones. It probably took off because it is a more tailored and wearable chore coat as opposed to the ones above which look a bit too work-y for most people who were into the workwear aesthetic years past.
Is Rainbow Country even popular enough to create fakes? The jacket in the photos looks well made so I'd be inclined to think its genuine. I know RC switched away from chains a while ago so odds are it is a fairly early model.
