This was from a Jan 3rd 1953 L.A. Times Ad. Obviously not the same trench coat, mine was made in Italy. Nevertheless it's worth sharing.

I have one, It's an old one too! It's sized a 7 1/8 but fits more like a 7. It's not in the greatest shape, there are a few "cracks" in the felt but they are impossible to see with out great scrutiny.
