How do you apply your brimmed hat?
I think most of the time I put my hat on by what the original post called "crowning". I try not to squeeze in on the pinch too much when doing so though. -
How Do You Wear Your Hat?
I think I usually wear my fedoras tilted a bit forward and sideways. They're shorter brimmed ones though, and I've got a wider brimmed one coming. I'm not sure if I'll pull the wider brimmed as far down forward as I do with the shorter brimmed ones, but I'll probably keep a bit of a sideways tilt. -

Yes, it was certainly nice of her to do that. I don't think she planned this, but since she found out about the hat store and knew I wanted a wider brimmed fedora, she decided to take a look. She actually narrowed it down to two hats, and I had to help pick which one I'd get. At ~$150 each... -

I picked up two more modern, short-brimmed fedoras today. Nothing special, just American Rags from Macy's. The black straw one is on the left and the gray pinstripe one is on the right. (The gray is linen/rayon, FWIW.) -

The Cap Faction
I have a cheap modern cap that I got within the last year (I forget when). My wife and I were out, looked at the hats in one of the stores, and my wife liked this one so I got it. I'm sure it's nothing special, but since my others are fedoras, it's nice to have a different type of hat available. -
Rings
