The US Army issued numerous variants of the liner during WWII, yet most were produced in relatively small numbers; they were not issued as a twofer with the M-1943 Field Jacket and I'm unsure how it was decided who got one and who didn't...perhaps it was dependent on the temperatures where the...
Buzz repro of the WWII M-1943 Field Jacket, issued patched on the left chest pocket (USAAF 1st Troop Carrier Command insignia) and with USAAF shoulder insignia. Buzz also gave this a pre-sale wash to get rid of the new sheen of the cotton sateen outer shell.
Tagged a 36R but fits larger (this...
I posted this for sale a while back on VLJ, but seem to have overlooked porting it over here to TFL. So correcting this oversight...
Buzz Rickson's 1930s style commercial A-2 Flight Jacket that differs from the familiar issued A-2 by having no windflap or epaulettes.
This is one of a limited...
The Real McCoy's N-1 Deck Jacket in excellent condition...I gave it a couple of hot washes as I didn't like the 'new look' and I wanted to fade the stencils; it looks just right now IMO. The washes had no other effect upon the jacket...everything is pretty much as new.
I've owned a Buzz N-1...
Buzz B-15 Flight Jacket. Blue cotton civilian version, with quilted lining, so more comfortable if you want to wear it over a short-sleeved shirt. Buzz only did a single run of these many moons ago, so quite a rare find.
Crown zippers. Plush mouton fur collar.
Tagged a Small, but fits at least a...
Black cowhide jacket from Samurai. The extra length makes a nice change and gives a little extra versatility compared your average Trucker Jacket. The zippers on the pockets are by Waldes. Made in Japan.
Lightly worn and so in very nice condition, with no issues apart from a little wear...
Bedford Cord Trucker Jacket in the classic off-white shade from Sugar Cane reproducing the Type 3 White Levi's jacket that became something of an iconic garment of the 1960s.
Purchased more than a decade ago, it's never been worn. I bought it as a back up to my made in Japan Levi's jacket, but...
From Toyo Enterprises 'Gold' line comes what is often referred to as a Coastguard or Avalanche coat by reproducers.
There exist numerous variants of this style of coat many of which can be seen in vintage photos being worn by USN personnel; it's impossible to know just how many of these were...
Sugar Cane chambray work shirt purchased new probably more than a decade ago as a back up but never worn.
Tagged a Medium 15~15½, measurements: Chest = 21" / Shoulders = 17¼" / Length = 28" / Sleeves = 24"
New price as you can see from the tag was ¥11,340 (though they cost somewhat more...
This is the very first issue of this jacket (or 'parka' as any hooded jackets are referred to in Japan) from The Real McCoy's. It's since been reproduced in the same and different camouflage variants, but never with the distinctive orange lining nor (I believe) with the patches on the chest and...
Tailor Toyo are probably the go to label for a quality 'Sukejan' - after all, the same company produce Buzz Rickson's and Sugar Cane and more. I liked this one because it was a bit different from most 'Sukejan' (both in terms of the jacket and the back embroidery with the airplane) which I...
Hickory Stripe work cap from Sugar Cane. I purchased this as a back up to an identical one I've been wearing for years, but as it's still going strong and looks good worn and faded it seems unnecessary to keep this.
The crown is not quite as high as many of this style of cap, and as a result I...
Vintage style motorcycle cap (think Brando in THE WILD ONE) purchased from the Attractions shop in Tokyo (when in Japan I would pop in regularly as a friend worked there), not long after it opened 15+ years ago, if I remember correctly. Attractions no longer make/sell these.
It's tagged a Small...
For a brief period Eastman made a B-2 Flying Cap from the same sheepskin as their Irvin Flying Jacket. Here's a chance to grab one of these blasts from the past.
Tagged size 7 1/8. I've worn it only once or twice and then for only maybe half-an-hour so it's in nearly new condition.
ELC currently...
Wool and leather (with quilted rayon/cotton lining) 'Style Eyes' Varsity Jacket by Sugar Cane; purchased in Japan 15+ years ago, it has seen almost no wear, so it's in near new condition.
Tagged a 38, measurements being: Chest = 21" / Length = 24" / Sleeves (from neck) = 29"
US$75 / £60 plus...
Gorgeous blue double riders jacket from Dry Bones.
Cowhide with quilted lining. Made in Japan.
In lovely condition, with no issues; there were a pair of metal stars on the flap pocket and their is a vague imprint of their past presence.
Main zipper is ring pull, all others are chain pull.

Stevenson Overall Co. AN-J3 Flight Jacket. This is what's commonly know as the Air Force version, with an A-2 style windflap and epaulettes. I think this may be the very best repro of this rare style.
Horsehide. Made in Japan. In like-new condition. No issues whatsoever.

Leather motorcycle jacket heavily inspired by Lewis Leathers; it's quite common for clothing companies in Japan to make their own variations of Lewis jackets.
Or Glory for those who don't know the name, have/had a shop in Harajuku and another in Daikenyama. Here's their website...
Suede Sugar Cane vest, lightly worn with no major issues. Lining is 80% wool.
Tagged a 38 and fits to size (ie. I'm a 38 and it fits me). Measurements may suggest it's smaller but vest measurements cannot be compared to jacket ones. Chest = 18" / Length (back) = 20"
I'm asking just US$55 / £40...
Suede Sugar Cane jacket, purchased (I think new) in Japan 15+ years ago, but it has not seen much wear, so no major issues.
Measurements: Chest = 20½" / Shoulders = 18" / Length = 22¼" / Sleeves = 23½"
New price as you can see from the tag was ¥58,000 (though I paid a lot less than that) but I'm...
