The Duke was known for being a down-to-earth approachable guy and this scene just shows the class he had. That gesture has probably gotten by 99.99% of people who have no idea what it means but he did it because he knew what it would mean to the man's family. Silent and strong class. Wow. -

I have noticed the same. People of "a certain age" tend to have nicer handwriting because they practiced it for years in school. Anyone use or own Wooden Skis?
Here in Canada we have the same situation. Used modern skis are everywhere and if you want vintage skis, boots and poles almost every second hand store I have been to has at least a couple of pairs in a cardboard bin in the back of the store. Coffee, grind your own?
We love freshly ground in our house too. We have a cuisinart grinder with the large resevoir at the top and the ability to pick to level of grinding.
