Barbigirl- That looks lovely. So polished.
Amy-Jeanne- Great set as usual... and I love the rose.
RetroGIJane- Add me to the list of envious ladies. That front wave is perfection.
Here is a phone camera shot of how my set's have been turning out lately. Black hair is so hard to capture any...
I thought I paid $28, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, it was very much worth it for me.. I'm going to watch the tutorial again before canceling my membership. :)
Actually, since I am borderline obsessed with Dita's hair, I recently tweeted her asking what her favorite curling method was. She tweeted back (so starstruck, lol!) that she loves hot rollers, and she has a tutorial on Dita.net for members. Well, curiosity got the best of me and I paid the...
Rue and GrantFan- I am swooning! You both look beautiful. What type of set did you two use for those do's? They are truly perfection.
For the ladies who asked to see my long middy un-styled... I'm still working on getting my picture uploaded. I'm having issue's with my little uploader...
Katinka- Thanks so much! The thing about my hair is that it always looks smooth right after I brush out my curls, but after about 30 minutes the frizz starts to set in. I have found plain ol' coconut oil as a gloss and a mist of Sebastion ReShaper hairspray (a brush-able hairspray) works best...
Juliet- Your hair looks perfect!
Thanks for the tip. I'm in the process of growing out bettie bangs and clipping the front for a bit should surely help my hair hold more of a wave pattern.
This is the set that has been working best for me lately. I had my hair recently cut into a long...
Miss Sofia- You are just gorgeous. Can't wait to see more photos from you!
MissLaurieMarie- Very lovely!
GinFizz- That looks exquisite for only 20 minutes! I doubt I could achieve that in a whole day. :)
Juliet- You have such a classic look, straight out of an old photograph. You are...
Fraeulein, you are stunning! I think your hair looks lovely. Somebody can correct me if I am wrong, but for waves I believe you set each row of pincurls alternating between clockwise and counter-clockwise curls.
I'll play :
Face- Image tinted SPF 30, Maybelline 24hr Superstay concealor
Eyes- Loreal Lineur Intese in Carbon Black, a black Stila Eyeshadow for brows
Lip- Julie Hewett lipstick in Belle Noir
This lipstick was dropped off this morning and within seconds I was dashing through the house to the...
The last few pages has so many lovely hair do's I could go on for days saying what I love about each one. All of you ladies look simply stunning. Perfection!
It depends on the fabric. I ordered the black perfect pencil skirt and it did indeed have stretch. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet because I am waiting on a different size, but it was fantastic to say the least.
Antje- Thanks for sharing your tutorial. This is right up my alley because I was longing for a vintage inspired hair do that didn't require an over night set. It seems to me that a flat iron induced curl would hold much better than with a curling iron. Once I get a 1" flat iron this is going...
C-dot- Would your tutorial work on longer length hair? I am really itching for a shorter do' but I'm not sure if Im ready to take the plunge yet. Currently my longer U-shaped, layered cut isn't holding my sets very well. After excessive brushing and hairspray, ect, my hair always falls back...
Thanks HepKitty!
Clabbergirl- Thank you very much! I can see improvement too on the rolls, sometimes I have a tough time getting them pinned up where I want them. :)
Sheeplady- Thank you :)
