Gene and Max: You're both correct. Alterations tailoring is within my budget, as is Made to Measure/Custom farmed out to another country. When I mentioned tailoring as beyond my price range, I was, in fact, referring to "true" bespoke, complete with in-person measuring, fitting stages, etc... -

I work for an implantable medical device manufacturer as a label design/development specialist. It's not exactly graphic design, but that's part of it. Snap Cufflinks
I just picked up my first pair of vintage snap links and though I wasn't sure I'd like them they're quickly becoming my favorite style in terms of use and convienance. I still love my gaudy wrap-around links, but the snaps are very secure and much harder to lose.- oddlots

American Crew Fiber is a styling paste. It's not strong and stiff like Clubman's wax or greasy like Murray's pomade.
