    British Army and USAAF - Allies circa 1943 - 45?

    Thought some of you may like to see this. I don't know the exact date it was taken but I suspect it would have been 1943 to 945. My father's cousin was a USAAF pilot in the US 8th Air Force (I think he was in bombers flying into Europe from Britain) and my father was in the British Army...

    The Germans did invade England - Shoreham airport Luftwaffe landing

    Just to prove my point the Luftwaffe did in fact invade England in 1940, well errrr 2010 actually. ;) Here is a genuine and still flying ME109 at the Shoreham Air Show August 2010. Casper PS the only piece of Britain they did occupy were the Channel Islands.
