Question for the bottle blondes!
I hate to be the "annoying hairdresser" here (lol) .. Box bleaches in the store, as far as I know, use a very high volume developer AKA way stronger than most people would need. The developer (peroxide) is what blows the hairs' cuticle open in order for the bleach/colour to penetrate the hair... -

.. I've also noticed on some YouTube videos and tutorials that some dont wrap the curl properly, kind of winding it randomly around their finger..? It's important to wrap it uniformly/in one direction, if that makes sense, not with random twists. That's getting off topic though lol! -

In hair school we learned that while the initial set is important, it is equally as important to know how to "sculpt" the curl after it is dried and brushed out. A pincurl set is very moldable. From the pictures you posted, most look like they have been sculpted into shape, there's no way they... -

As far as colours go, they were mostly nude. Backseam was a little darker, I haven't seen vintage nude tights with that jet black line... I think that's a modern/retro sorta thing. I suspect they wore darker ones for evening wear? I've seen greyish colours, too American Apparel makes great...- Runa

Yes, those are 1970s for sure. Just judging by the pic alone, online price would probably range anywhere from $20 - $50...
