    Maltese Falcon

I put that together in photoshop after I read this thread. The eye is cut out of a Pinkerton logo and Dashiell Hammetts sig is lifted from an example I found on line. It's just a thought of what one could make to fill in the unknown. If you want to lift it and use it feel free to do so. Sean

Lets see your Balloon Tire Bikes

Hello Kilroy, Thanks. I looked at yours a few times while working on mine. I got the colors reversed when I repainted the headbadge. Just left it, looks ok. The sn is 0101791. One of the guys over at RRB thinks it's a H.P. Snyder made frame. Any opinions are welcome though. All of your bikes...

Bank held up by Dillinger torn down.

Thought this might be of interest to some. http://www.thestarpress.com/article/20090416/NEWS01/904160366 We made the short drive and took a few bricks. I understand some people don't want to memorialize crime and criminals but I was sad to see this torn down. As we drove back to Muncie we...

    New Indy Flick Poll

Hello, Jake, I will strike my "enjoy it for what it is" comment. I enjoyed it very much. I don't go to movies very often. Mostly I watch things on the small screen at home. I am a huge fan of 30's and 40's radio and film. It is safe to say the overacting, cheesy effects and laughable scripts...

    New Indy Flick Poll

#2 and We saw it yesterday. Me and the Mrs. thought is was great! It was Indiana Jones in 1957 with commies to fight and ancient mysteries to unravel. I don't get all the negatives. Enjoy it for what it is. Sean

What the heck does Jughead wear?

Hello, One of the Bowery Boys did wear one. Also known as "The Dead End Gang". I think these hats were also called Palookaville Caps or Hats. I don't see how you could get a fedora brim to stay up like that unless you flip the whole hat inside out. I have always liked "Jughead Hats". Sean

    Bespoke military uniforms?

Hello, I had Army Dress Blues tailor made in Kabul, Afghanistan back in 2005. They did a very nice job. Wool instead of that poly crap that the Army dress uniforms have been made of lately. I think, traditionally, officers in the US Army had uniforms made to order until the era of the ugly green...
