Penman Hats
here are a couple of shots of my "Marlo" I also have 2 hats on order, a third for my son{a Rorschach} and a re-block for my daughter in law when my son and daughter in-laws hats come in we will do a photo shoot with my Marlo and their hats in the mean time it is empty hat time:eusa_doh: -

Question: Tipping in Restaurants, for Services, ??
the IRS employees are some of the worst tippers in general they tip in the 4% range {a study I read a while back} BUT tipped staff are expected to declare something like 15% regardless of the amount tipped unless it is on the receipt. {like diners, where you pay a register} any time I get a bill...- dostacos

as one of the few people that grew up in the 60s and actually REMEMBERS the 60s... When I was in high school I wore a straw cowboy hat while working on a ranch. my wool felt Aussie slouch hat was just too hot, and I never really had the nerve to wear the Aussie hat out in public. much... -

I am calling this Fedora the Pyramid of the Moon 1976! The ribbon treatment is just superlative and really adds panache to the hat. I asked Art to do a reverse ribbon of this hat and this is the result the color is a tad off in the PICTURE, the hat is gray and the ribbon is gray/maroon... -

Pigeon droppings on felt hats - what to do?
well for the pigeon poo, I suggest flame broiled and served with a nice white wine....:eusa_clap ;) at least THAT flying rat won't nail another hat. -

Stretching
having made leather molded braces I would say yeah it will shrink if it is wet, been there done that. {now when I say wet I mean dripping soaked through and through} dan 3rd generation orthotist -

Stretching
shoe stretch {if you mean the liquid used to stretch shoes} that should work. I would think it would be best to wet the leather then steam and stretch. the shoe stretch liquid will allow the leather to lengthen and when dried, be longer. I have used that stuff to make bunion bumps on shoes... -

Penman Beaver "MARLO" hat, gray John of Penman had a few hats that he had built then the people decided not to buy, their loss MY gain. I love this hat. it reminds me of a hat that Clark Kent wore {the OLD TV program} anyway here are some pictures
