Is the five star A-1 the best “budget” A-1 for around $300?

It seems the only options at this price range are Avi (does not look as authentic), vintage (but incredibly hard to find a genuine goat/cape skin model in decent shape at this price), or five star.

Am I missing anything or for around the $300 is five star the best A-1 you can get?

Is this the five star cape skin? How was the sizing?

QMI.BE stick a couple of A1 options from the De Brabander brand. No experience, other than checking out their jackets online with a mind to a patch-project. Their instructor version with the wool body and leather sleeves https://qmi.be/en/type-a-1-flight-instructor-jacket-wool-leather.html looks nicer than their full-leather option https://qmi.be/en/type-a-1-flight-instructor-jacket-pull-up-leather.html in photos. The latter is listed as "vegetable pull-up leather" whatever that is. Leather information looks much clearer on the other models of leathers they do.
