2022 - the year of suede?

Interesting to see the different shades. I'm always a sucker for the smooth collar variant. Nice way to build a collection. The Cody Ranchers are very cool.

Vintage Outerwear: Threads of the Past

Ok, the 4 spot with the cool pocket? My favorite of that edition. This is the one I always thought was Blatt of Chicago.

Vintage Outerwear: Threads of the Past

what does this HD look like in full? sounds like an interesting connection. Harley Davidson pose many questions. I had not noticed this very familiar tag. RW strikes again. What a player they were.

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

Thanks for posting. I just bought it. At least a 44 and it looks it. Quite a heavy looking lining and the storm cuffs. Looks like a fit issue, too big. The sides are drawn all the way. Don't see jackets this size in Japan. Like California Sportswear they made a lot jackets and a lot of...

    Sears Motorcylce Jacket History 1949-1963

Monarch use of French seems is very similar to many Roughwear jackets. This construction lead people to believe that Monarch was the maker of the "Iconic" Hercules, which we have now proven was RW. Monarch jackets of all years are very fitted/tailored jackets. They used garment weight...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I know nothing about Pendleton labels. The Tear drop Talon is more 60s and the big main could be the same.. I can say the zippers are not 30s or 40s. Nice with the two ziper.

    Sears Motorcylce Jacket History 1949-1963

Very nice break down for this rare variant. I've never been close to owning one of these, don't see them for sale in any size. The braided trim shouts expensive! All those jackets above with the rivited belt, including that odd Deef foot label are Roughwear made jackets. The CSC have...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

This Admiral Byrd is on the wing. I could not be more pleased. My favorite of the Roughwear clothing two pocket style. I have it in a smooth leather, but not the suede leather. It will fit too, wearable. For my closet this is a big find. This was a popular style in the MW catalog. The 2...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Thank you. I wear it fully zipped with throat latch closed. The latch comes off if you choose. Especially warm and a comfortable jacket to wear. Do you or the moth have any ideas? The leather trim and buttons look similar. Never heard of a ZIP branded zipper. It has a Canadian feel.
