Can someone help date this Dobbs?
I saw this on ebay and the owner said it is a 1930-1946 but I can not tell from the pictures because it is a game bird hat, not a regular one. I feel like it is closer to the 50s than 40s. Pictures in the link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221785575895
Yeah haha i have always wanted a vintage fedora. I have only owned western style Stetsons and my favorite open road Stetson... Can these fedoras be worn with anything? Like jeans or khaki shorts or are they too formal?
Could I try the coleman fuel on the hat first and if that doesn't work, try the woolite, or would the stain be set in if it has not already? Also, I noticed Fed said since it is acidic, it could cause discoloration of the hat. Could the spots just be discoloration and not stains? They are darker...
When you use the Coleman fuel to clean whole hats how long do you dunk in in the solution? Also I can leave the leather band inside but take out the liner or leave both?
Yeah I removed the the vomit and hit it with our steam cleaning machine that we use on stairs and turned down the pressure and temperature to make sure it was clean. Now the spot is just a little dark.
Vomit on his stetson please help
Well, yesterday life happened. Vomit ended up on my fathers beloved stetson and we need any suggestions to get rid of the stains. We have patted the spots with rubbing alcohol but to no avail. Thanks in advance.
