Help with a stubborn brim
I'll definitely give that a try then! thanks! I used some water to get the hard pinch in the front (indy style), and I was surprised how well it holds once it dries. This is my first fedora so I'm learning a whole lot :). I didn't realize that the water would work just as well on the brim even... -

Is your fedora tipped?
I wear it straight, but just because it feels right that way. I tried the tilted, but with my Federation the crown just seems to tall to be tilted. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet, but straight is the way for me. Unless I'm sitting at a bar or some high top table...then I tend to sit it... -

What to do when they just don't get it
My fiance is really supportive of my hat "obsession" (for lack of a better word), but she does have ones that she would rather I not wear. She definitely is fond of a gray hat more than the brown ones. It really just depends with her. I think it's more of a "time and place" type thing with her... -

I'm definitely one of the Indy guys. That hat brought me into this crazy world, but I didn't think about wearing one daily until after seeing Casablanca. Those guys were really stylin' back then, and there's no reason we shouldn't be now ;) -

THE OFFICIAL INDIANA JONES HAT
Same bad hat, much higher price. That's the way it looks to me. Granted it is "100% beaver felt", but it still is in no way a screen accurate hat :eusa_doh: What are the Lucasfilm guys thinking?! At least you get really nice box for it to go in O_o -

I haven't received my fedora yet, but I am anticipating those first wear jitters. I do find it easier to wear "different" stuff when I'm out with friends, so maybe not going solo the first few times will help.
