Selling a nice, vintage, Avirex leather jacket. It appears to be patterned after the Schott Perfecto. Lining is a little worn, but still serviceable.
All zippers and snaps work properly.

My Icon jacket lining isn’t anything special...just a light nylon layer. Guess I’ll look into breathable linings. The one in the Avirex is quilted and insulated...it’ll have to go as it’s in bad shape anyway.

I currently wear an Icon leather jacket in the summer. Looks like the Avirex might be lighter.

Yes, that makes sense too and you’re right in that it doesn’t seem to hold up very well as all these 7X hats’ sweatband stitches are loose. I just figured if they did it this way on the more expensive hats, there must have been some benefit to doing it that way. Apparently that isn’t the case...

That makes sense to me. I’ve handled several 7X CB over the past several months and they all show this exact type of stitching as in the pics I posted above.
