I may be heading to heritage hats soon for a few hats to get refurbished I’m about 14 miles south of them I like AZTEX hats and they do amazing work however I must admit 50.00 refurbish hat 50.00 for a block and shape 50.00 for a wide ribbon 50.00 for a pencil curl 50.00 for that... I’m picking it up tomorrow for 50.00 Any 20x resistol whether modified or not for 50.00 is a steal... and with those mods that costs money bound edge, trimmed brim, large ribbon and bow, and a reshape. I believe you may be right about the conversion I have a non x stamped black gold western hat and I asked resistol about the lack of X’s.
