Their medium cowhide is great, and lasts forever. You should not be disappointed! I've not owned a Langlitz "goat" but friends' that I've tried on seem to feel heavy.
!5yr old Mac's can be very goon things, like 15yr old Scotch, or 15yr old properly stored Wine! For some of us , the "Latest & Greatest" is not really.............C.

I wear the 1954 on a regular basis, and it is way better than it was 10 or so years ago when I got it. The tanning process was obviously somewhat different back then. I use Obenauf's regularly on that one, and when I throw it down on the floor it folds up like tissue. BTW, I do like yours a bunch.
Hope you teach you boy to have very good taste. It only takes a credit card (and a smart phone) to buy something. It takes a lifetime (and a lot of time) to appreciate and find the absolute best, that should probably be taught and passed on yet again.
If you know what it is and is your size, you know how rare it is. A very limited one season run. I spent years and $$$$ to find this one, NOS. I wore it carefully, for one short season. (never wet and NO treatments at all)
