Seeking size 15 boot
Hey all, my grandad’s boots are starting to fall apart and he’s a big guy with a high arch so boots with a slimmer ankle are impossible for him to put on. Does anyone have suggestions for sites that sell large (USA size 15) or custom-made boots? Thanks a lot in advance.- Hidebound

putting the shine back on old leather?
I recently bought an old horsehide leather jacket that dates roughly from the 50's. There are some parts of it that have a sort of shiny, smooth surface (which I guess is how horsehide looks when new) but there are a lot of places where the "shine" has worn off to the point that it has a texture...- Hidebound

regarding sheepskin in the southwest
So I live out in the southwest, where - as some of you may know - the weather can change on a five minute basis and even a relatively cool day can quickly become hot. (It does get cold during the winter mind you, just for a shorter period and there's a great deal of wind involved.)...- Hidebound
