Just picked this Derby / Bowler up the other day. Hat is in fantastic shape. Rip in center of the liner. No size tag. The sweatband is of really good quality. I'm Looking to try to get a ballpark date for this hat. It really is spectacular.

Has anyone ever seen this type of wind trolly / cord? Not sure if this was something custom the owner did or something that used to be done back in the day. Also any ideas on the manufacturer and age of this bowler?

Got this hat today. It's a great vintage pork pie from Champ hats. The chocolate brown felt is really nice with a large ribbon. The liner is in great shape, with only light staining. It is loose in spots, but in great shape. The only problem is it was advertised as a 7 3/8 but is actually 6 7/8...
My favorite color is Orange, so I really like the liner and it looks like it's in great shape. The box as well. Can't wit to get it and take a closer look.
