Feraud is correct in saying that the "style" or "type" is simply a fedora.....a name given to hats that resemble the style first worn by a character in the 19th Century play of the same name, however the definition has evolved over the years.
The Whippet is a model name given by Stetson to...
It looks like to me that a wider portion of the ribbon is showing on the top side of the brim than is showing on the underneath part of the brim.....or is that just an optical delusion?
Yeah......it ain't much, but it's the only thing going for now. The owner is nice. He doesn't know a lot about vintage hats, but he does carry a lot of the current stuff, if you dont mind tapered crowns. Has a lot of straws, too. One word of caution....it's in the middle of Downtown Atlanta...
1) Black, just like in the photo on their website.
2) I don't have mine with me, but I'd say about 16-19 ligne.

Dunno.....you might ask Graham. Perhaps the "Optimo" name is generic, since it's a style of hat. But I agree with carouselvic............yikes  !!!
I doubt anyone would confuse this company with Graham's, once the products are compared. It's a long way from Arizona to Chicago. ;)
