    Thanks for your replies everyone! I think I'll just leave them in then, I hope it helps the curl stay a bit longer when I do brush my hair out. I'll report back on how it looks tomorrow ;)

    I do that now and then (with and without a lace net under it), but it just seems like my curls are getting all bunched up in the nape of my neck when I tie the scarf around my head, because my hair is quite long. Or is that precisely what should happen [huh] ?

    I did not use end papers except on one strand that had a lot of layers and wouldn't stay put (I used tissue). I rolled them tight enough to keep the rollers in but tried not to do it too tightly because I read that would ruin the curls. I did not consciously avoid getting a dent lol Two strands...

    Lillemor, my bangs are short! They have been cut just above my eyebrows, and rollers don't fit, so I just swipe a curling iron through to lightly curl them. My natural hair is quite straight, with waves at the bottom. But thanks so much for all the compliments! :o
