    Don't discount the virtues of wool I have an old Dobbs wooly that I wear quite frequently. It's my favorite hat to wear to sit in the stands at my son's football games. Woolys are very servicable hats.

    I just recieved a great comment about my hat...

    I was walking through a furniture store wearing my favorite Cavanagh. The sales girl (about my age, in her 40's) stopped me and said how much she liked my hat, her final comment was that she wished more men would wear hats because they looked very "classy and sophisticated". Made my day.

    My Opinion In my opinion the feather looks good on hats with a smaller brim, less than 2". I have a tan Cavanagh with a 1 7/8" brim and a black Lee with a 1 1/2" brim that I have feathers in.

    The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I've had pretty good luck using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. The only caution is to use a light touch, as they tend to crumble if you have a heavy hand.
