Pike I have a Pike, use it at events, and driving the jeep in. No problems, nice constructed jacket. Of course the purists will say "Its not right, it has the wrong number of stiches in the side pockets! Made I did not say they were hideously made, just made in a hurry,and maybe to a war time price. They certainly would not have been made to a todays standard of £400 - £500 for an A2? Eastman I have bought a bit through Estmans, they are very nice, especialy the USAAF O.D. Officers Crusher Cap, which eventually arrived nearly 6 months after ordering it. Warmer So which is warmer then Pike or Aero ? What about colour. The Expensive Eastmans is quite light khaki shade, were as the Pike and Aero are quite green in colour. does this fade. I would like to know before forking out £200 mail order, on a jacket I have not actually seen.- DustMite

Transfer What about the USAAF transfer on the shoulder. The water slides wont work on cloth, where can I get some transfers for cloth, and will they be iron on? cheers- DustMite

UK's only full-size World War II German U-boat
One Piece Had the great fortune to have a guided tour round this u-boat a few years ago at Berkenhead, when it was in one piece, it was fantastic to walk, hunched up with 10 other people, from end to end , in a 1 1/2 hour talk/walk through. It is a great shame that the public will never know... -
