Chest measurement is 36” maybe 36.5” which is why I figured it would be the right size. Maybe I don’t have standard body proportions? I’m 5’7 and my waist is a 26 so maybe my upper body is a bit larger relative to the rest of me.- jet

Following up on my 1964 peacoat: it just came in the mail today and seriously looks like it came out of a Time Machine, seriously couldn’t be happier. Thank you! I’m very excited, I may post pictures of it when it gets in because based on the pictures the condition is unreal. Is it recommended when buying vintage peacoats to have it dry cleaned before wearing or as long as there’s no smell can I just wear it right away?- jet
