1911 Dry Cleaning book - hat chapter

Hope this hasn't been posted somewhere already. I searched and couldn't find it. Anyway, good book from 1911 with chapter 7 on cleaning,blocking, etc. of felt and straw hats. Anyone ever try "pipe-clay" on their fedora??
