I'm told, from other forum members, that this hate was made no later than the 30's. It is in great shape for its age, but is unfortunately missing the sweatband. The felt, ribbon, and liner however are in impressive condition. Art Fawcett has told me he would be able to install a new sweatband, but I decided to leave that to the new owner in case any special sizing accommodations are needed.
Without a sweatband, it sits quite loosely on my 7 3/8 - 7 1/2 head, and the lining is marked 7 3/8. I would imagine that with a new sweatband, the sizing could be adjusted up or down a tad.
