1938 Tuxedo

According to the taylor tag in the inside pocket, this tux was made in 1938 in Bogota Colombia by Enrique Carrizosa for a Senor Ropp. That's a lot more info than my hats usually give me about their origin!

Fits like a 42 would fit me perfectly if I dropped a couple pounds.

This bespoke tuxedo looks to be exceedingly well made ... and the first owner was probably a member of Colombia's very wealthy oligarchy (the kind of folks who spent six months of the year living in their homes in Paris.)
